ID‑Cooling has detailed the Frozn A610 XL that was announced at Computex 2026. It’s a large single‑tower air cooler finished in black, built around an offset base to keep the first memory slot clear. The heatsink is rated for 250W and uses a slim 17mm front fan to maintain compatibility with taller modules.
According to Cowcotland, the cooler uses a dense aluminium fin stack and a set of heat pipes running through the tower. The design aims to push higher cooling capacity without creating RAM clearance issues, which is why ID‑Cooling opted for a thinner front fan.
The AF‑12017 hydrodynamic bearing fan operates between 500RPM and 1850RPM and is rated for up to 65.2CFM of airflow and 1.36mmH2O of static pressure. It doesn’t support a 0RPM mode, but the lower end of its speed range should still keep noise in check during lighter workloads.
The cooler supports AMD AM4 and AM5, as well as Intel LGA115x, LGA1200, LGA1700 and LGA1851. Installation uses a crossbar that mounts directly to the base, with two screw points accessible after removing the magnetic top cover. ID‑Cooling includes a black mounting kit, Frost X45 thermal paste and a screwdriver.
KitGuru says: The Frozn A610 XL takes a different approach by relying on a slim front fan to keep memory compatibility intact while still pushing a sizeable 250W rating.
