Epomaker announces Galaxy75 with aluminium case and 8000mAh battery

Epomaker is launching the Galaxy75, adding a 75% model to its Galaxy keyboard series. Revealed during a recent livestream and now listed on Epomaker's official store, the keyboard will sit between the Galaxy80 and the Galaxy70.

Pricing details haven't been revealed yet, though the keyboard will initially ship exclusively with Epomaker's Creamy Jade linear switches. Unlike the Galaxy70, the Galaxy75 (via TechPowerUP) uses a traditional 75% layout with an F13 key and a dedicated four-key navigation column on the right edge. It features an aluminium chassis with a gasket-mounted structure, a polycarbonate switch plate, and five layers of sound-dampening foam, which Epomaker claims delivers a “dense thock” acoustic profile.

The exterior comes in a sparkling black, lavender, or pink finish, each paired with matching Cherry profile keycaps. The black model uses black-and-orange dye-sublimated PBT keycaps with cityscape artwork. The lavender and pink versions combine solid dye-sublimated PBT with accent keycaps made of opaque ABS under a clear, UV-printed polycarbonate layer.

Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth and 2.4GHz, supported by an internal 8000mAh battery, alongside a wired USB Type-C fallback for data transfer and charging. For lighting and remapping, the board features south-facing per-key RGB lighting and is fully compatible with both the open-source VIA interface and Epomaker's web-based Hub driver.

KitGuru says: Epomaker's Galaxy series has gained plenty of attention for offering full metal builds at accessible prices. We'll have to see whether the Galaxy75 hits a similar price bracket once it officially goes on sale.
