The refresh rate race has just hit a new, frankly absurd, milestone. HKC has officially launched the Ant esports ANT257PF, the world's first 750Hz gaming monitor to hit the market. This new display is aimed squarely at the top of competitive esports, where pro players demand every possible frame.
As you'd expect from a monitor with such an extreme refresh rate, the ANT257PF (via ITHome) is built around a 24.5-inch Fast TN panel with a 1920×1080 resolution. HKC claims a 0.8 ms GtG response time to keep up with the panel's speed, along with a peak brightness of 400 nits. Despite being a TN panel, the color coverage is surprisingly impressive on paper, with claims of 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3, which should make for a better experience than the washed-out TN panels of old.

HKC's own DIC motion blur reduction technology, which is included on the monitor, is said to successfully lessen blur in moving pictures for a sharper image. In addition, the display has an audio port, a DisplayPort 1.4, and two HDMI 2.1 ports. A five-way remote control, an RGB lighting zone, and an ergonomic stand are all located on the rear of the display.
The ANT257PF is set to go on sale this Tuesday, August 19th, via auction on the Chinese retail site JD.com, with bidding starting at just 1 yuan. The winner will get a TE Gaming's signed product kit and a 48-hour training experience with the team. The final retail price is expected to be over £800.
KitGuru says: Would you be willing to pay this much for a TN panel, even if it has a 750 Hz refresh rate?
