Following ASRock, Sapphire, Powercolor‘s announcements of Radeon RX 6900 XT featuring XTXH silicon, Asus has come out to unveil the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT TOP T16G featuring the Navi 21 XTXH GPU, enabling higher overclocks.
At first glance, both the standard and Top variant of the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT look basically the same. Both cards feature a 2.5-slot design and three 8-pin PCIe power connectors. As for the cooling solution, it consists of a 240mm radiator with 2x 120mm fans, a full-cover cold plate to cool the die and the memory, a single-fan, blower-style shroud, and 60cm of tubing to avoid mounting issues.
Compared to the original Asus ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT, the Top variant comes slightly higher clocked. The game clock comes set at 2375MHz, up from 2135MHz of the original, and the boost goes as high as 2525MHz, a 150MHz increase over the original.
RGB lighting can be customised and synchronised using Asus Aura Sync. Moreover, the card also features a ASUS FanConnect II header, which allows users to control case fan speed based on the temperature of the graphics card.
KitGuru says: Considering the Top variant should come with a price premium over the original ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT, which card would you choose for your system?
