Ghost of Yotei is getting surprise DLC. During a State of Play stream earlier today, Sucker Punch shared a first look at Most Wanted, a new game mode for Ghost of Yotei, allowing fans to play is multiple other characters, including Jin Sakai from the first game.
Most Wanted is a combat survival mode, in which players can take on increasingly difficult waves of combat challenges. The fun part here for fans is the ability to play as multiple characters, including Jin from Ghost of Tushima, as well as Atsu, Nagato and Oyuki from Ghost of Yotei.
Most Wanted is a roguelike “single-player combat survival mode”, according to Sony. “You’ll accept bounties in order to start new runs, where taking down enemies will earn you perks, as well as unlock additional characters to play as,” it says. Aside from Most Wanted, Ghost of Yotei is also getting a single-player expansion in October, titled Echoes of Sekigahara.
The story in Echoes of Sekigahara is split between the present day and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. During this new questline, we'll learn more about Atsu's past, and meet a new character, Nagato.
