Elgato has announced the Key Light Air MK.2, a new overhead lighting solution for streaming setups that comes in at roughly half the price of the flagship Key Light model, while offering a larger panel, touch controls and USB-C power.
The Key Light Air MK.2 uses a 15‑inch edge‑lit LED panel capable of up to 2100 lumens when paired with a 30W USB‑C PD adapter or battery bank, while a standard USB‑C connection to a PC delivers up to 400 lumens. The panel uses OSRAM LEDs with adjustable colour temperature and flicker‑free output for smoother video.
Touch controls on the front handle brightness, colour temperature and two presets. For remote control, Elgato’s Control Center app connects over USB or Wi‑Fi on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, and Stream Deck integration allows adjustments during a stream or recording.
The included desk clamp stand is height‑adjustable and uses a ball head for positioning, with cable management built in. The light can also detach for use on existing rigs via three 1/4‑inch threads or MagSafe‑compatible mounts.
The Elgato Key Light Air MK.2 is available now for $139.99, with a light‑only version at $119.99. Elgato is also offering a free P30 power adapter and discounted Focus Grid accessory when purchased directly through its webstore.
