Glorious, a brand best known for its enthusiast-grade mechanical keyboards, is making a surprising move into the budget segment. The company has today unveiled the GMBK 75%, a new membrane gaming keyboard that aims to bring a level of customisation typically reserved for more expensive mechanical boards to a much more accessible price point.
The key selling point of the GMBK 75% is its focus on personalisation. Unlike almost any other membrane keyboard on the market, the GMBK is compatible with standard Cherry MX-style keycaps, opening up a world of custom keycap sets for users to change up their look. The customisation doesn't stop there, as the wired USB cable is detachable and can be swapped out for a custom coiled cable. Additionally, the media control knob can be replaced with any of Glorious' GMMK 3 rotary knob accessories.
Despite being a membrane keyboard, the switches are rated for up to 20 million keypresses. If you're prone to spilling liquid over your keyboard, then it might be interesting for you to know that the GMBK is IP57 waterproof, so at least it has a chance to survive even if an accident occurs.
