G.Skill unveils new low-latency DDR5 memory kits for AMD Ryzen PCs

G.Skill is kicking 2025 off with a bang. The company has just revealed its latest low-latency memory kits for AMD Ryzen-based PCs. The new DDR5-6000 CL26 memory kits will be available starting in January under the Trident Z5 Royal Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Ripjaws M5 line-ups.

For those unfamiliar with G.Skill's different memory kits, the Trident Z5 Royal is the high-end, offering a unique crystallised RGB heatsink. The Trident Z5 Neo has a similar design, but the diamond light shield on the heatsink is replaced by a sleek light strip instead. The Ripjaws M5 is G.Skill's entry level. It still has RGB lighting, but the heatsink is a bit plainer.

 

The new low-latency kits will be available with 6000MT/s speeds and CL26 timings in kits of 2x 32GB or 2x 48GB memory DIMMS. G.Skill validated the new kits using a system with an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard and a Ryzen 9 9900X desktop processor.

All of these kits have an AMD EXPO profile for easy overclocking. These new kits will be available worldwide starting later this month.
