G.Skill is pushing the boundaries of DDR5 performance by launching its new high-capacity, low-latency memory kits, reaching an impressive 96 GB (2x 48 GB) memory kit at DDR5-6400 CL30 using XMP 3.0.
These new kits combine high memory speeds with tight timings, delivering a well-rounded package for Intel and AMD platforms. G.Skill's DDR5-6400 CL30 kits boast impressive timings of 30-39-39-102, offering exceptional responsiveness and bandwidth for gaming, content creation, and professional workloads. As usual, the company has tested these kits on Intel and AMD platforms to ensure stability and compatibility.
On the Intel side, G.Skill demonstrated a 96 GB (2x 48 GB) kit running at DDR5-6400 CL30 on an Asus ROG Maximus Z890 Hero motherboard with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU. For AMD users, the same kit was successfully tested on an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU.
The new DDR5-6400 CL30 kits support Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclocking profiles (no EXPO profiles), allowing easy setup and optimisation through the motherboard BIOS. Starting in Q1 2025, G.Skill's new DDR5-6400 CL30 kits will be available in 96GB (2x48GB) under the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal series.
