TeamGroup launches high-capacity PCIe 4 SSDs with up to 7,400MB/s speeds

TeamGroup has recently announced a new M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, the MP44Q. Available in capacities up to 4 TB, the upcoming SSD features 3D QLC NAND memory capable of providing sequential read speeds of 7,400 MB/s.

Team Group MP44Q M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD uses the newest 3D QLC NAND and has capacities of up to 4TB. The PCIe Gen4 x4 interface with SLC Caching technology provides maximum sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s and 6,500 MB/s, respectively. The MP44Q SSD is also energy-efficient, perfect for document processing and storage applications.

To ensure optimal performance, the device features Team Group's patented graphene heat dissipation sticker, which is less than 1mm thick and eliminates mechanical interference during assembly. Combined with a motherboard heat sink, this cooling solution effectively addresses the heat generated by high performance and extends the SSD's lifespan. The MP44Q is rated with an MTBF of 1.6 million hours and 512TBW per TB of storage.

Furthermore, it supports Team Group's patented S.M.A.R.T. software for testing and monitoring the SSD. The device comes with a full 5-year warranty and will be available globally in early May.

KitGuru says: With up to 4TB of storage and decent PCIe 4.0 speeds, these SSDs should offer enough to meet the needs of most users,.
