Nvidia’s latest driver brings optimisations for Skull and Bones, as well as new DLSS titles

There are several big games launching this week and as usual, Nvidia is prepared with a GeForce Game Ready graphics driver. The latest GeForce driver brings support for new releases like Skull and Bones, which finally lands on PC and consoles this week after a decade of development.

The latest GeForce graphics driver brings day-one optimisations for Ubisoft's pirate multiplayer game, Skull and Bones, which we first saw at E3 many years ago. The game will be launching with ray-traced graphics options, as well as support for DLSS 2 so RTX graphics card owners can save some performance.

Other notable games releasing this week include Smalland: Survive the Wilds, which launches on February 15th with DLSS 2. Additionally, Don't Nod's next game, Banishers: Ghosts of Eden, is available as of today with support for Nvidia Reflex, DLAA and DLSS 3.

With all the settings maxed out at 4K with DLSS 3 on, you'll get over 100FPS with an RTX 4070 and the numbers only go up from there. The RTX 4080 for instance can hit over 150FPS with DLSS 3 switched on and the RTX 4090 approaches 190FPS.

The latest GeForce Game Ready driver is now available to download via the GeForce Experience.

KitGuru Says: Are you planning on picking up any of this week's new game releases? Personally, I'll be diving into Banishers this week to get another good look at Unreal Engine 5.
