Nvidia rumoured to be launching RTX 40 Super graphics cards at CES

Although there are no significant graphics card releases expected for this year, recent leaks suggest that Nvidia is working on an RTX 40 Super refresh. Now, one prominent leaker is claiming that these new GPUs will be revealed at CES in early January.

According to kopite7kimi, Nvidia might choose CES 2024, which runs in early January, to introduce its new RTX 40 Super GPUs. The company isn't a featured exhibitor for CES 2024, but the company should still be present. It remains to be seen whether the RTX 40 Super series will be launched during the event or if it gets announced in a stream leading up to CES, allowing board partners to talk about their upcoming custom-cooled models at CES.

The rumoured RTX 4080 Super is expected to incorporate the full AD103 GPU with 10,240 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR6X memory. The supposed RTX 4070 Ti Super is set to use a similar memory setup, accompanied by 8,448 CUDA cores. Lastly, recent leaks suggest that the RTX 4070 Super will have 7,168 CUDA cores, but it will continue to use the same 12GB memory configuration as the non-Super model.
