Now that Intel has announced the 12th Gen Core CPUs, memory makers have started to introduce their DDR5 memory modules. Kingston is the latest to get in on the DDR5 generation, with new Fury Beast DDR5 memory modules clocked at up to 5200 MT/s.
Featuring on-die ECC (ODECC), dual 32-bit subchannels and built-in power management integrated circuit (PMIC), Kingston’s new Fury Beast DDR5 modules are the company’s solution for those looking to upgrade to the next generation of RAM. MSI, ASUS, ASRock, and Gigabyte tested and approved these modules to ensure maximum stability across their stack of motherboards, allowing users and PC vendors to build their new systems with confidence.
Kingston announced that there will be single 16GB modules and 2x16GB kits available. The single modules and kits are clocked at 4800MHz CL38, with the voltage set at 1.0V, or 5200MHz CL40 at 1.25V. These clock speeds can be further increased through manual overclocking, just as long as you know what you’re doing. Other memory companies like G.Skill have already begun pushing DDR5 further, with speeds up to 6800Mhz.
Each Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 module comes with a stylish and low-profile black heatsink to cool the ICs. All kits and modules are Intel XMP 3.0-ready and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
