Intel ‘Beast Canyon’ NUC 11 Extreme to feature Intel Core i9-11900KB processor

We have a clue on how Intel will use the 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake processors. A recent report claims the Intel ‘Beast Canyon’ NUC 11 Extreme will feature the Core i9-11900KB CPU, suggesting that the rest of the line-up could also be used on other Intel NUCs.

We have previously shared a slide stating the Intel NUC 11 Extreme compute element would feature up to the Core i9-11980HK, which Intel has confirmed at Computex. According to the photo shared by @9550pro, Intel might’ve changed its plans, and it will add the Core i9-11900KB processor as an option for the compute element.

The system that we see in the photo is the Intel ‘Beast Canyon’ NUC, the successor of ‘Ghost Canyon’ NUC. This mini-ITX machine will pack an Intel NUC 11 Extreme compute element featuring an 11th Gen Intel Core i5, i7, or i9 H-series CPU and support a full-length graphics card.

The report doesn’t mention any other processor from the 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake B-series line-up. However, considering that the i9 model may be used on an Intel NUC, we wouldn’t be surprised to see more processors of this series powering other compute elements.

KitGuru says: Based on the specifications on Intel ARK, do you think the 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake B-series processors would outperform their 11th Gen Intel Core H-series counterparts?
