RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti confirmed via presentation leak

Recent rumours have indicated that Nvidia will announce the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti soon, followed by a launch in June. Now, we have more evidence of this, as a board partner presentation has leaked online.

VideoCardz has obtained a presentation deck for MSI’s upcoming SUPRIM series RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards. The slides confirm that the RTX 3080 Ti will be a 12GB card and share the same PCB design as the RTX 3080. It also appears to confirm that the RTX 3070 Ti will be an 8GB card, which is very much in-line with leaked specifications.

At the moment, the RTX 3080 Ti is expected to ship with a GA102-225 GPU featuring 10,240 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores, and 320 Tensor cores, as well as 12GB of GDDR6X memory. Specifications for the RTX 3070 Ti are a bit up in the air, a GA104 GPU is expected, with more CUDA cores, RT cores and Tensor cores, but we do not know if it will ship with GDDR6X memory, or if it will use standard GDDR6 modules.

Rumour has it that the RTX 3080 Ti will be unveiled later this month, but we do not know if the RTX 3070 Ti will be announced at the same time. Both GPUs are expected to be available in June.

KitGuru Says: Whether or not there will be enough stock to go around for these new GPUs still remains to be seen. Are any of you hoping to get your hands on an upcoming RTX 30 series Ti graphics card?
