Today, MSI is launching a new line-up of laptops for gaming and creative professionals, packing the latest Intel 11th Gen Core H-series processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics.
MSI’s new laptops promise to deliver a 30 percent performance upgrade over the previous generation, as well as improved features like PCIe Gen 4, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E and new display options, such as True Pixel QHD+ and Mini LED displays. Not only do we have new MSI Creator series laptops, but gaming laptops like the GE Raider, GP Leopard and GS Stealth have been upgraded, alongside new models like the Pulse and Katana series laptops.
On the Creator front, MSI has launched the new Creator Z16, featuring a 16:10 display with thin bezels, a slim CNC-milled aluminium chassis and a True Pixel display with up to 1440p resolution and support for 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. This laptop is also equipped with the world’s thinnest 0.1mm sharp-edged fan blades and Cooler Boost technology to ensure components are cooled properly and can maintain peak performance for longer periods. Under the hood, you will find an RTX 3060 laptop GPU and an Intel 11th Gen Core i7 processor.
The new GE76/66 Raider laptops are MSI’s powerhouses for portable gaming. The GE76 and GE66 Raider laptops benefit from WiFi 6E, Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics with a full TGP of up to 165W for maximum gaming performance, in addition to Intel 11th Gen Core processors up to Core i9 models. Display-wise, you can opt for a 4K/60Hz, 1440p/240Hz, 1440p/165Hz, 1080p/360Hz or a 1080p/240Hz display. The GP76 and GP66 Leopard laptops are also making the jump to RTX 3080 graphics.
The award-winning MSI Stealth series of gaming laptops is also returning, with up to Intel 11th Gen Core i9 processors and options for RTX 3060, RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 graphics. These laptops also ship with the same display options as the Raider series, but users can also choose to configure a new MSI Stealth laptop with a 4K/120Hz display.
Finally, we have the new Pulse GL 76 and GL66 as well as the new Katana GF76 and GF66 laptops. The Pulse series is designed in collaboration with 2018 ZBrush world champion, Maarten Verhoeven, which is where the ‘Titanium Armour’ design on the lid comes from. These laptops use RTX 3050 series GPUs with redesigned heatpipes and improved MSI thermal grease for better cooling. The Pulse series also offers 1080p/144Hz 17-inch or 15-inch IPS-level displays.
The Katana GF76 and GF66 laptops can be configured with a wide range of RTX 30 series GPUs, including the RTX 3050 all the way up to the RTX 3070. The last-gen GTX 1650 is also an option for the entry-level. CPU options range up to the new Intel 11th Gen Core i7. Display-wise, you can pick a 15 or 17-inch 1080p/144Hz display.
